We are Number 41.
At Number 41, our work sits at the intersection of what people need and how organizations operate. We’re naturally curious. We ask questions. Sometimes a lot of them. Then we listen.
We take the time to understand what’s really going on before jumping to solutions. It sounds simple, but it’s where most of the value comes from.
For over 25 years, we’ve partnered with organizations across Canada to solve complex problems. We bring together service design, user experience, software development, and change management into one integrated approach so ideas don’t just stay ideas. They get built, adopted, and used.
We care about being useful. Not just delivering work, but doing work that actually helps people, supports teams, and makes things better in a way that lasts.

Curious by nature, practical by design.
We’re a team of designers, strategists, and developers who genuinely enjoy figuring things out. We ask questions others might skip. We look at problems from a few different angles. We take the time to understand both the problem and the context around it.
At the same time, we stay grounded. We focus on what will actually work. That means balancing user needs, business realities, and technical constraints, and turning that into something that can be built and sustained.
25+ years of showing up and doing the work.
Number 41 started with a simple idea. Understand what’s needed, then build it well. That mindset hasn’t changed.
We’ve now delivered over 300 projects. Some large, some small. All of them real. Along the way, we’ve helped organizations modernize systems, improve services, and better support the people they serve.
We’ve also learned that good work comes from consistency. From trust. And from being willing to keep improving, even when things get messy.
