Our web development process has five phases. All of our projects (whether they're websites or software or a mix of both) go through each phase. But this is not a one-size-fits-all approach. We customize the steps and activities to suit each project's requirements and complexity.
Start-Up
Design
- Current state assessment of the client's existing website or software.
- Alpha wireframe development; then a review and re-iteration process, including usability testing, to develop beta and final wireframes; and sign off.
- Alpha design compositions, then a review and re-iteration process to develop beta and final compositions, and sign off.
- Data design documentation, a review and revision process, and sign off.
- Final business requirements document (including technical design), review and revision process, and sign off.
Build
- Alpha build development, testing, review and revision, and sign off.
- Beta build development, testing, review and revision, and sign off.
- Development of an integrated release candidate, user acceptance testing, review and revision process, and sign off.
- Development of the final website/software product, user acceptance testing, review and revision process, and sign off.
Deploy
- Deploy website/software code to client's server environment.
- Conduct quality assurance testing.
- Deliver user and developer documentation and conduct training.
- Complete system launch.
