Quickscribe Online Launched
Victoria - October 14, 2001 - Number 41 Media announces the launch of Quickscribe Services Ltd.’s online legislation database. Quickscribe’s extensive library of British Columbia legislation is now available at www.quickscribe.bc.ca.
Designed by Number 41 Media, Quickscribe’s attractive and intuitive new web site provides subscribers with easy access to hundreds of B.C. legislative Acts and regulations. The database is fully searchable and results can be customized to suit subscriber’s individual needs and interests.
Underpinning the Quickscribe web site is a complex document database application developed by Number 41 Media. Using a sturdy but flexible combination of PHP and MySQL, Number 41 Media also developed a content management application that allows Quickscribe to quickly add and update documents.
To enhance the development of this new online e-commerce service, Number 41 Media also built a secure, custom, online shopping-cart application to automate Quickscribe’s subscription process.
Number 41 Media’s web site development and business analysis expertise ensured Quickscribe’s legislation library service evolved smoothly from print to web.
