Business Breakfast Fundraiser

November 9, 2006 – As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, Number 41 Media attended the 2006 Employer Challenge Business Breakfast Fundraiser. The event, an initiative of the Community Council’s Quality of Life Challenge, drew 80 leaders from Victoria’s business community to the Laurel Point Inn for a frank discussion about the region’s business environment.

Number 41 Media was asked to share the success stories that have emerged since implementing our employee health benefits package back in 2005. Stories included covering health costs while vacationing outside Canada, extending dental plans to families, and providing reduced prescription rates for medication.

“In addition to enjoying a great breakfast and sharing our experiences, the Community Council asked to us to design the invitations and brand the whole event,” said Matthew Miller, Number 41 Media’s account manager. “Victoria received some less than favourable business press in a recent national survey, so our theme was Tough Talk with a Side of Toast. They loved it.”
