Administrative Assistant

Starting immediately, Number 41 Media is looking for an Administrative Assistant to fill a 10 month full-time maternity leave position, with a potential to lead into a permanent full-time role.

We need someone who is keen, bright, and friendly; someone with related experience supporting a twenty-person firm; and someone with a certain savvy for customer service. Does this sound like you? Although we are a tech company, it is not necessary to have web experience in order to succeed in this support role.

Reporting to the Manager of Operations, this front desk position blends reception duties with operational support, a dash of bookkeeping, and executive assistance. As such, a certain amount of juggling and coordination skills are required. If you can actually juggle, this will impress us to no end.

Must have

Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
2 years experience in similar role
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Ability to work independently and with others
Proficient keyboard dexterity
Exceptional organization skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Friendly telephone manner
Customer service experience

Nice to have

Experience in the creative tech industry
Intermediate knowledge of bookkeeping principles
Previous use of QuickBooks software a plus!
